I'm glad you're finally back home in HK.
I'm not 100% sure. But I believe 許志安 covered this one as well back in 1988 at 華星. Can anyone confirm? I don't have his first few albums.
I was surprised George (Ah Lam) did this one as well. I like the original very much. So Ah Lam's version doesn't sound good to me (I can't remember Andy's version, if he really did this one). He should have this song & Peter Cetera's Glory Of Love alone. Too bad. Some of his covers are very good, like:
Miami Sound Machine - Conga/
Billy Joel - Uptown Girl/
Dazz Band - Let It Whip/
Mungo Jerry In The Summertime/
Jermaine Jackson - Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone/
Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now
etc.

Thank you Griffin. Yes I have been back for 2 weeks. Still catching up with things.
I am not sure whether Andy did a cover of this song either, his early albums are quite hard to find. Not sure who owns the copyright anymore after Capital Records died. It would be great if those early albums of Andy Hui, Alex To...etc can be re-released in 復刻版 like Polydor and Song/CBS do.
許志安的翻唱版叫《費煞心思》，收錄在《許志安》(1989)，碟內還有《荒謬的愛情》、《傷得徹底》……
當然，亞LAM的版本比安置佢優勝。
@ Benny, well that would be nice! But if record companies release all cover versions by each artist in compilations would be better/easier for us to collect. For example: all Andy Hui's covers (from English/Mandarin/Japanese songs) on 1, 2 or 3 CD's! Hahaha
