I started listen to Yvonne when you went solo! Always loved her voice & her songs! I've never heard of this song before (from the time I wasn't focused on HK music that much)!

I've googled around & found out that Harpo did 2 versions (English & Swedish) of the song in 1975! And also an updated 3:30 version (Moviestar '90)! But only on vinyl only (I believe never made in onto the CD, only the 1975 original 3:20 version can be found)! I could find this 1990 version to compare!

But the song/version which inspired Yvonne to do the cover is probably the 1992 cover (released as a single) by Marc Davis! Nowhere I could find the Radio Version to listen to! But you can clearly hear the female backing (hahaha,...) at the intro & throughout the song was used on Yvonne's version! (I've re-edited the Extended Version, cut the extended music break)!

The Harpo version you included, was from vinyl & imcomplete (I believe)!

I'll see whether I can send you the 3 songs (Harpo 75/Marc Extended/Marc Edited)!

多謝Griffin的contribution... 剛剛加上了Marc Davis的版本, yeah, I agree, 劉文娟的版probably was inspired by this version. By the way, the Harpo的「Moviestar」on the player was not incomplete... I have just listened to it, it's in full length, just to make sure. I think it's some kind of server problem tonight, it have kept buffering while I have listened to it. Anyway, if anyone has the same problem, let me know, I re-upload the song. It does have a vinyl feel to it though. :P

早兩個月, 比我在二手店拾了隻劉文娟的「Loving Feelings」, 其實我越聽越喜歡她, 好想買回她其如的solo albums. Someday lah... all depends on luck.

Harpo's version should not have vinyl/needle on the groove sound. Your version runs 3:10. The one I've sent you, is without vinyl intro & runs in full length 3:21!

Got the Marc Davis' CD-single! Yvonne's version was definitely inspired by the Extended Version! Both have the "music break" at +/-2:30! But my Edited Version was the closest to hers (edited out another unnecessary music further on)!

When I was in US, I could buy CD online too. I remember missed that, it's so much easier to hunt down "treasures"!
