Written initially for Robbie's own album, the composition, Better Man, was passed on to Sandy, who fell in love with the song immediately.
But here it says Robbie wrote it for Sandy. Contradiction: Sandy heard the song & wanted to record it on her 2000/2001 Virgin (EMI) album.

At first I don't really like hers because I mega loved Robbie's. It's so imprinted in the back of my skull. But after a few listens I started to appreciate hers. The bottom line is that this is a very good song. And she's singing the female version which is of course different.. But I still like Robbie's more :P
