I heard Jacky's version a zillion times! Also my favourite karaoke pick back then ;P This album is one of my favourite Jacky album of all time! I don't remember whether I've heard the original before! But I have always loved Southern All Stars (SAS)/Keisuke Kuwata (桑田佳祐) songs! Thank you for this post ;P Jacky's version was 5:11 while the original was only 4:32! So his version might be inspired from one of Southern All Stars/Keisuke Kuwata-performances like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWbGlQf3NW4 Or Alex Dela Cruz did an excellent job with the arrangements!

Like Jacky's the most (first impression+great arrangements), then Van's (heard hundreds of time while watching the K-drama & listened to Van Fan's album & finally the 2 decades' old original ("10 years after": Jacky's & another 10 years: Van's)!
