I was a big Glenn Medeiros fan! I believe I first saw only a tiny bit of the video clip when it was in the French chart!

Glenn Medeiros & Elsa - Un Roman D'amitié (Friend You Give Me A Reason)! was a huge hit there! Never knew who Elsa was back then! I only knew I have to get my hands on the English/French duet by Glenn & Elsa! Finally got a rare compilation CD which it! Later I was surprised that the same song was included on Glenn's album with different title & lyrics in full English sung with Elsa again.

In an interview I once heard: Glenn & Elsa met in a French TV show, getting along, decided for a collaboration, they chose the song "Love Always Finds A Reason" penned by Diane Warren & Robbie Buchanan!

And a full English version/the original "Love Always Finds A Reason" on Glenn's album! It wasn't released as a single until Glenn came promoting his album in The Netherlands & Belgium & re-recorded a new version of "Love Always Finds A Reason"!

This time with Ria Brieffies (who was in the 80's Dutch girl group Dolly Dots & died in 2009)! It was included on special edition of Glenn's album replaced the duet with Elsa & released as a single (had a minor success)!

Pat's was probably inspired by the huge success single in France! Too bad she decided to do a solo instead! She had to push the voice very low! Which made the song unbearable to listen! I like Elsa's English version the most (love duet with the sexy French accent), then Glenn's French version (friendship duet with Glenn singing in French) & Ria's version is a bit too strong for my taste!
