林憶蓮也在她的英文碟中翻唱過嗰英文版. 可以看看嗰MV HERE
之前已uploaded了的Simply Red版原來是Instrumental, 剛剛也把它改回了演唱版.
雖然隻歌是幾經典, 要個歌手好有feel才可以演奏出那個soul味, 但其實對我個人而言, 首歌是有少少悶的.
同意這首英文歌聽得多，的確幾悶。就算當時聽憶蓮的英文碟，很多時侯都會skip過這歌的。相信譚耀文會選擇去改編，很明顯是因為當年Simply Red成功的重唱，將這歌重新打上US Single Chart No.1的緣故。
Great original/cover! I love Simply Red's cover of If You Don't Know Me By Now! Mick Hucknall is great a performer! I had played this song millions of time back when it came out! I almost can sing it in backwards ;-P Because the "original" was so good it's sometimes very risky for HK artists to cover a huge hit! Although I like Patrick Tam's singing in general: his version is a bit more than okay! Maybe I can't shake the "original" out of my head!
