Deanie Ip's cover is very similar to the original! But I'd still prefer the original! That's probably because the man's talking part (from 2:52 and on) is bit odd/off! Without that Deanie's version be as good as the original!

多謝GC分享Deanie版本. 好soul好有味道的一首歌. 咁晚正是夜深人靜的時候聽, 一個字: 正! 這一類型的歌真係好適合Deanie唱. Agreed with Griffin about the man's talking part, it's kind of unnecessary.

Anita Baker's version is really great too. 這一類歌remind me of Viktor Lazlo - another singer who I like very much.

Although the above comments are talking about 9 years ago, I must reply "the man's talking part" has its meaning, because what the man has said is EXACTLY what my bf loved to said. After the 10 years relationship, my feeling is exactly the same as what Deanie is singing about. I mean everytime I heard of this song, it means too much to me. "先頭落去尖東睇班fd夾band", to me, it means the man rather spend time with his fd 夾band to spend time with his girl fd. Well just like my bf always like to go out with fds for tennis, soccer, our happy hours in the bar etc. I mean ALWAYS. "尋晚夜訓，今晚一於早啲散band" means the excuses to his gf that he wants to go home rest asap and also telling the gf to back home instead of continue spending time on dating, well, yes, again, my bf, THE SAME �� his usual 對白: 我地去xx餐廳食完飯就散band.
Thats why I have a super deep feeling to this song and eventually become my fav song cos this is exactly reflecting my heart's feeling
