This is an easy match, for me anyway, 我喜歡英文版多好多. 中文版好似是一個電台節目的主題曲. 林姍姍都還可以, 她的聲比較搶, 另外兩位好像同這首歌有D格格不入, 都不太分別到她們的聲音. 相比當年林憶蓮改Taylor Dayne的「講多錯多」或是杜德偉改大口Dayne的「Prove Your Love」, 這首「愛火廣播店」差好多皮.
Many thanks, CG! I bought one of those "Originals"-CD back then! So I knew one of my favourite High Energy dance tunes of the late 80's was covered (愛火廣播店)! But cover artists weren't mentioned! So now I finally can hear it! Yeah, I can't type Chinese (also no proper software for that)!
What a great disappointment! Alex or Sandy's Taylor Dayne covers were much better! Or if Sandy Lam (not Sandy Lamb) would have the chance to cover Taylor Dayne's debut single (instead of the 3rd/4th single "Don't Rush Me")! It would be a huge hit in HKG!
Sandy Lamb had released some albums! So she can sing! Brenda Lo as well! But more Folk songs! Ruby, I've never heard her singing! One of the vocals make me puke (I guess probably Ruby's)! What a waste the cover is so bad! Well, perhaps another exapmle "Do Not Cover A Huge Hit" unless you can manage! Otherwise it's a joke! The cover itself (arrangements/beats/power) was fine! I believe the vocals (Brenda did dance/Ruby had no skill) or the lyrics (...hurry, hurry, hurry, get out of my way...)!

嘩, discowayne, 你好強勁呀. 真係有首叫「即刻掛號」, 是呂珊唱. 已補上了. BTW, 又要多謝GC的分享. 我個人覺得, 這個版比商台DJ那個版好少少, 但尾尾有一段唱得奇奇怪怪的, 其實那一段根本就不適合填中文歌詞. 仍跟原版差得遠呢.

Of course BMG's HK division wouldn't let a big BMG hit slip through their "covering" hand! Taylor & Rosanne both were from BMG! I agreed Rosanne's version is better! Her voice/skill is more powerful/better! But the lyrics aren't okay (sometimes it sounds strange) This song is probably not suitable for Chinese!
