我最初聽憶蓮「回來愛的身邊」大碟, 其實覺得有點悶, 太靜. 但聽久一點, 慢慢就聽出味來, 現在來說, it can be counted as one of my favorite Sandy's albums.
由你開始obviously was inspired by Cherrelle's version. I have recently bought Cherrelle's The Woman I Am album here in the US. It's really a fantastic R&B album. I was mistaken for a while that the original was by The Beatles. The Shirelles was the first group that released this song, two years before the Beatles.

I have Sandy's album. So I heard the song before! I was first introduced to Cherrelle's original on FIO-10 http://favoritesinoriginal-albums.blogspot.com/2010/06/favourites-in-originals-vol-10.html
I have to say I love Cherrelle's remake than all the others: Shirelles is so outdated or the more band sound/more rock remakes!
At first I thought Sandy's beginning/ending were different than Cherrelle's maybe there's another inspiration. But I didn't find it.
