加了葉麗儀版本... I am finding contradicting information about the original album of this song. Was it from 1987 大碟「葉麗儀」or other album? Hope someone can confirm.

葉's version應該係1985，即係你貼出嚟嘅呢個封面。呢隻碟係呢首歌嘅first released。
I also prefer 劉美君's version more than 葉麗儀's, just sound warmer and more harmonic. 葉麗儀 actually sung really well on this song too, not over-acting which is precious from singers at her class. However, for some reasons, I feel that there is a disconnection between the music and her voice, like the music is always following after her voice, instead of accompanying, or marrying the voice and music together. That's one of the reasons why I like Prudence's version more. Honestly, if you don't mention, I would never remember 葉麗儀's version.
The original is a fine song, very "Air Supply" kind of ballad.

To be honest I've never heard of Frances Yip's before! I first heard Prudence', Cliff's, Emil's & now Frances!
First of all: it's a great song! I love all 4 versions! Too bad Frances didn't have a hit with it until Prudence' remake.

Now you mention it: I also got the feeling that in times Frances' voice was ahead of the music. Maybe you found the reason it failed to become a hit. The mixing engineer or the producer should be hanged.
Cliff's version sounds ended abruptly. According to info's the song should run about 5:19!
