Want to ask: 黎明詩 - 真不該！為你心痴 is covering from Cathy Dennis - You Lied To Me. Previously posted. Now you are saying 當天初相見 is the same song. I don't have that 黎明詩 album so I wasn't sure.
I wonder if you were previewing the song at Xiami, I believe it's a mistake in that website, when I preview 真不該！為你心痴, it ends up playing 敢恨敢愛.
The preview of 莫為愛傷悲 is actually playing 真愛. The preview must be all messed up for this particular album in xiami. Can try to play all the songs to see if you recognize a SAW song.

Just woke up & I got "shocked by" your comments! OMG, I've been listening to the wrong tracks/songs! Stupid xiami! As a SAW/PWL/Kylie-fan would have recognized it right away, especially when Stephanie is singing "shocked by the power..."! Which one is the correct preview of 莫為愛傷悲 (Anita O'Day) then?
But what about the songs I've already found the originals for them? And the ones I have no clues for? Were all those the correct previews? That would be a diaster if they weren't!

I thought that would be great too if the two of you or anyone can share the list of those "originals" series: Favourites In Originals, Original Supreme...etc. I personally only own a few.
Only wishful thinking, if there is a scanner to scan those covers too, it would be great to open a separate blog to introduce those series. Just an idea.

铅笔小丁 & Favorites In Original, that was my suggestion to FIO about putting together the "Originals"-CD's together and try to find the covers! I guess 铅笔小丁 would have a bigger collection (easier access when you're in HK/CN)! And the fact that you have Favourites In Originals Vol. 12 1994 & I don't, confirmed that ;-) The big problem is that I can't type Chinese/Japanese/Korean! So sending in the tracklistings would be a disaster! I can only take pictures of the front/back-covers when I have time. Or try to find the Chinese/Japanese/Korean titles online then copy & paste them ;-)
In my collection, the biggest three series include: Polygram's Favorites in Originals (Vol. 1-12), CBS Sony's Original Supreme (Vol.1-6), and Warner's Super Original Hits (Vol. 1-4?). I also got a few others released by companies like Virgin and Epic. Will shall pictures with you guys later. Also, I may have access to a scanner to get better cover and back pictures. Stay tuned~

Hey Griffin, no need to worry about 细听锋芒 cuz I checked the credits and learned that, apart from what we have found, there is only one song that is possibly a cover (沒有過去的人 陳進強), but no composer is mentioned for this one. The others are all original works by HK composers.

Hi Benny/Leon,
I took the afternoon off (from hunting down the originals)! I took neary 300 pictures of the covers! Now my shoulders & back are sore (hurt/pain)! Scanner would be easier! Bought one like 10/15 years ago. Rarely have used it! So I don't see why I would buy a new one! Took the cover-pictures + additional showing track times + add. compilation-CD's that incl. originals in Eng/Jap/Kor I don't realize/recognize. But you guys might. 104MB, still uploading to hotfile at the moment. Megaupload would be a problem for Benny. I hope hotfile is fine! Done!
