Oh, I'm sorry I didn't check for the correct timeline! By searching for Denpasar Moon I dug up info's on her+success: Maribeth was winner of the 1991 Voice of Asia contest! She recorded Denpasar Moon in 1992! Saw her Bewitched all over (youtube & elsewhere)! Listened to it: hey, that's a Grasshopper-song! And I remembered it's on Original Supreme (7?). I always say there's a reason a song get covered. The members were the composers. But I thought her version inspired them. Now I see it's not possible! You can see with Denpasar Moon composer is not always the original artist ;-P

I then asked whether these were originals (any finished demo's) & have others been recording these! Still no reply after a week now! Since he has written these for Dan Lessner (just for this project) they must be originals!
He does not sound very friendly at all, if you asked him all these questions in a few emails, probably he got annoyed and just ignored your last message, especially if he has never got the royalty!
Well, I think he did his best! He could also not reply any of my mails. I only saw Edmond's in WIP. When he denied of written that I took out Red Hot Hits & saw Andy's! So I wrote again. First mail took him also like 5 days to reply. I'll wait! If not those are originals & no other demo's!

原來是「愛情女殺手」!!! I am like, search and search for 女殺手, everything I got was 陳寶珠! TUBE - ノッてけ'92, by its song name, I imagine there is an earlier version, that's why it needs a distinction for '92. This '92 version is included in Original Supreme IV anyway.

10. Elvis Presley - Can't Help Falling In Love (2:32) [情難自控]
Anyone knows who covered this track?
I've tried googling, but I'm clueless! It's not the 情難自控 from 張國榮 黎明 彭羚 吳婉芳! Maybe it's not real cover with Chinese lyrics! Only someone covered the original English version (情難自控 is the translation for Can't Help Falling In Love)! And there was really a 情難自控 it was released in or before 1990 (All Originals II)! I guess it was one of those 70's/80's male singers like Albert Au, Michael Kwan, Sam Hui, etc.

I've listened to both youtube version! I believe that's the original of 陳潔靈 - 活在迷幻! But her version did sound different! Perhaps an edit of the original! Or someone else from Japan did a cover of it which inspired her!

For those Tsai Shing (翁家齊 周功成) songs, I guess Benny you have listened to their only two original albums. If there's no match, since they are HK composers, I naturally believe the works are original pieces.
For Jim Lee and Gordon O'Yang, they are both HK musicians. Jim Lee is 李振權, and Gordon O'Yang is
歐陽燊(http://ray.com.hk/~rayc/musicind.html). Also, pls note that even 荒川里佳 is listed as an HK musician in the above list.
For the songs by 吳大衛, 李偲菘, 黃國倫, they had a lot of collaboration with HK musicians in the 1990s, so I'd rather believe those songs are originals, which needs to be verified though.
BTW, Benny, could you clear those found ones in the list? : )
And 陳美鳳 is also an HK composer, according to the who's who list.
Anybody interested in contacting composers like 李思崧 with the email provided? : )

Page 4 has already been opened. Griffin, sometimes I notice too that the comments may take a while to get posted, not all the times, just very occasionally. Maybe a server maintenance issue.
If you leave a comment and it vanishes, wait for a hour or two first, see if it appears before you'll leave another one. Now I see your 2nd comment, and 3rd twice. The 1st comment was gone missing however. I have no explanation for you on that.
There might have a 100 comments limit, but usually when it gets to 70/80 comments, I'd change a new page. Too difficult to read when the comment page gets too long.
Sorry about that! I don't have too much experiences with a blog or leaving comments on one! This is the first blog I come back to so often & leaving so much comments on!
