Hi, I'm pretty much sure that 刘玉翠's 情人不难做 is covered from Les Maracas' Laissez-vous Aller in the singer's 1993 album VivANTS (which also matches the release year of Lau's album). My conlcusion is based on the Chinese lyrics that contained "Laissez-vous Aller" towards the end of the song. Also the duration of the two songs also seem to have not much difference. You guys can have a check:

I've tried before & even bought their first 1990 CD as xiami has listed Rain Lau's release as Jan 1993. So I thought it can only be their first & not their second CD. I've listened to all the tracks, only their singe comes close to Rain's. But I'm still wasn't convinced. According to Cinepoly catalog #'s Rain's was released after Faye's 如風 Autumn Version EP
1993年12月! So you could be right as none of the tracks from their first CD was the match.

For the Rain Lau, I said so because I recently bought her cassette (in a way of saving cost anyway,hehe) and found the lyric line in the booklet, so I believe my guess is not without ground.
BTW, don't trust xiami that much, especially on the release month as I guess those uploaders in most cases don't know either, so they just make up a month and fill the required info blanks.~

Okay, if Laissez Vous Aller was printed on the lyrics sheet of Rain's cassette it has to be it. I'll try to buy the CD then.
About the newly founds, it would be handy if we don't try to find it while someone else has already found the original. Just by clearing that would help ;P

I believe 讓我孤單過這一晚's original must come from 柳ジョージ, but I found nothing in his two albums in 1988 and 1989 that I bought on Taobao (his CDs are not that expensive). Perhaps I need to back check his earlier albums. Just based on the songs I have listened to, I think his style well matches Danny Summer's. Actually this isn't the first time when Danny covered his song. Earlier he covered George's Coin Laundry Blues.

No, I still can't get it started. I suspect it was the power unit that gave up. But I'm still waiting for my brother in law to take a closer look when he has time. All my downloaded files for Oct/Nov-posts, emails with Benny/you, etc were all on that pc. I hope you haven't contacted me on my alice-mail since 5th Nov.

I couldn't find anything by Ralf in 1981. The first in about 1983. So I assumed it's either 1987 or 1991 just before Danny's 1994 release. Fianlly found another cover by Johnny Logan. Danny's has an acapella intro. So when I first heard Johnny's I turned it down. Now re-listen up to the chorus: bingo!

Those credits were from the vinyl LP, which was the big size=accurate enough. And I've already found the composer. It's Dermot Grehan also called Derry Grehan. I just need the previews to find the correct song.

I really need the OP/SP credits to track them down. I hope someone who has the vinyl LP or maybe the original CD & willing to share those. I couldn't find anything like A.Minro other than A Minor. Perhaps it's an Asian artist. 新的我 sounds like a 70/80's band's song.
And I'll still haven't got 2 the previews & the English lyrics.

With the composer D.Hinds & the OP Pulse Music I tracked down David Hinds of the reggae band Steel Pulse! After listened to your preview I knew I was at the right direction Reggae! Started to look for their albums around Danny's release year with the duration around 3:20. But no luck/match. Then I went for their singles from around 1988. Finally found this gem. BTW the English lyrics weren't from he original, just creation by HK lyricist to match the song's theme.
Caution:
since Danny himself is a talented musician, his cover mostly re-arranged so differently that the duration won't help us much.

I pinned down Derry/Dermot Grehan, written songs for his band Honeymoon Suite & others like Frōzen Ghōst. So I checked his band first. Around Danny's release: 1984, 1985 & title track of the 1987 OST! I knew I couldn't trust the durations. So I've listened track by track. And finally the very last track of their 2nd album.

For 警告之后，I sense the original singer might be a Japanese artist/group after listening to the song. And I guess even if we get the original vinyl, the OP/SP info may not be included as I remember it was released by a small company, a branch of Polydor.
Do you need OP/SP info for the two songs in 不顾一切警告？I can dig out my cassette to check.
