A typical 80s pop track. I like Danny's cover over the original on this one.
Transmission released their version in 1986. Though the arrangement is similar to Frankel's, I prefer Transmission's vocal, than Danny and lastly Frankel.
Frankel's and Transmission's bridge to the fade-out outro are strange but I dislike Danny's more which the bridge leads to a sharp outro.
Both Frankel and Transmission have remix version (also 6-min long), but I can only find Transmission's in youtube:

Some rumors say Danny not only released 6-min remix, but also released 4-min remix (in his studio album along with the original album version), again I can't find the 4-min one.

I liked Danny's version a lot! But only knew it was a cover more recently & started/tried to find the original. Glad I found it ;P

Mario Martens was the Lead Vocalist in Transmission (Björn Werner & Mario Martens). Okay, so like Mario's vocals! I first listened to Frankel's. So I like this more! But Danny's was definitely inspired-by him. DMI was part of EMI. So I would have thought it was inspired by Transmission's (EMI label)! But it isn't! I guess Danny's Extended Version 4:42 might be more or less the same as Transmission's album version 4:31!
Danny has the Extended Version on the original/second release/re-issue (on later re-issues, it was replaced with the 6:50 Ice & Fire Mix).

Thanks. Finally got the chance to listen to Danny's Extended Version. I guess this might be the original version since it has additional lyrics not on the 3mins album version

Then they edited it down to a radio friendly 3mins version. And labelled this 4mins one as Extended Version. Still I want to collect/get this 4mins version on CD (LPCD45II)! But it's too expensive! US$25~30 just for 1 song, is not worth it.
