First time listening to both versions, interestingly for the half 1 min down 香檳情人, I thought May's singing skill really needed some improvement, but the song have grown on me as I listened on, mostly because of the arrangement. And then I listen to the original, definitely the arrangement of 香檳情人 is much better than the original.

Found this original with the big original-hunting for May Ng in May 2010! My bad, I assumed it was inspired by the single remix (a slowed down mix)instead of the 5:35album version! I'll edit it once I've got time. Hmm, shit, DRM protection!

To be honest I like the original more! The feel is very good as a whole! I listened to May's first then the original! So it easily got your attention! I believe the cover was speeded up a bit to make a more dance/up-tempo song! 甘志偉 did a good job! But as I'm trying to find the inspired-by I've listened to all versions I like the original more. 7" Mix is the closest to May's. Perhaps it was inspired by the Extended/Club Mix, speeded up & edited down to the cover version now! I'll have a look into it!
