I have always appreciated Prudence's effort to cover some often unknown soulful tracks. Some are like hidden treasure. She did well as usual, even though I do like the original a little more on this one.
Wow, first heard of Adele from her works as lead vocalist on Jellybean's album Just Visiting This Planet, together with another favourite Elisa Fiorillo on Chrysalis (BMG)! So probably her ex-record company BMG wanted to promote Adele & suggested Prudence to cover! Like them both (both very similar)! I'm glad Adele had finally got to release her own album. Thanks for this post.
This song is the No. 1 song i love in this album! always in my top10 Prudence's play list!
