Heard the both before! Liked them, very similar! But Norman's included the "Cruel Prelude 0:39" from Bobby's album! And then again an edit of "Don't Be Cruel" was used for his cover! I assume it was the Radio Edit 4:54! Let me see whether I can find them & edit them!
Yeah, also finished & sent it! An special edit of the original! Enjoy! If you like it, please leave comments ;P
Norman's version has cut all Rap-portions. Perhaps he wasn't ready for the rap yet!
I am not sure if the intro was necessary for Norman's version. I guess it tried to build up the mood and make it more dramatic, the overall beat is weaker than the original. I prefer Bobby Brown's more.
Love your edit, Griffin, by the way.
Griffin, such a great edit job! Are you a pro DJ? :)
I like both the cover and original a lot. Back to my high school days, I saved quite a sum of money to buy this Norman Cheung import cassette. I remember I chose this one instead of Sandy Lam's 忆莲 album. Until today I still think I made a correct choice.
@铅笔小丁, thank you for your compliment! No, me? Proffessional DJ? If I am like Tiesto & Armin van Buuren (both Dutch DJ's ;P) I wouldn't waste my time here! I would be making big money all over the globe ;D

I'm a collector of 80's remixes (also collecting HK remixes more recent)! I compile my very own CD's of artists I like! For example: Pebbles, a while back I've put all her singles+12"+dub+instrumental together in chronological order on 3 CD's! Most of the time it requires some enhancing/ editing/ fixing (volumes of all track, pops, cracks, hiss, bad start or ending, making edit according reference, etc.)
BTW, for the Bobby edit I swapped parts to fit Norman's version! Too bad, not every part could be found ;( Otherwise it would perfect ;P
Not sure whether you've listened to most of edits! I'm still very proud of Jermaine's I made back in those days!

Don't remember them all! There should be a quick search label for GL-Edits ;D hahaha
Oh, you dropped Sandy for Norman. Which of Sandy's album had to give way (讓路) to Norman's? I'm curious! Most of Sandy's albums were very good!
