Just the kind of R&B pop dance track Alex To loved to cover. And he totally got the groove too. There are a few tracks from Color Me Badd I used to like, especially from their second studio album, Time and Chance, but I have to admit that the high pitched voice of one of the lead vocals of CMB is not particularly my cup of tea. It is kind of annoying after you listen to him for a while.
I believe I first heard CMB's original with its single release! Then Alex' version after a few years! Didn't remember it until I started digging! Alex' is the closest to the single version: Heartbreaker (UK Radio Attack)! But Alex' was complete rapless, which made the song much smoother! Which I prefer more than the original!
Included file was the Original Recipe (=Album Version I believe). Heart Throb Mix is more an instrumental/dub mix of the Heart Attack Mixes but featuring only some chorus/rap! Without additional material I don't think I can pull it off again with another GL-Edit in the style of Alex To's!
