I can remember vaguely I heard the cover back then! When it (Mike & The Mechanics - The Living Years) originally came out I found it was a beautiful/brilliant song! Alex' performance was perfect! But his cover is still a bit less than the original! I think I can only blame it on the arrangements/production then.
I like Alex To and all, but I must say this cover is actually kind of boring, not defected in his performance, but the song itself does not really fit a chinese coating. Alex got the voice for the song, but it won't help. The original is one of those songs you need to listen to what the song means or what it is singing about. For me, original 1 cover 0 on this one.
