Heard Leslie's version before! First time the original! I hardly can believe it went to the number one (on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of November 12, 1988). Because his performance is so "hea"! Leslie put a lot of heart & soul in his performance of this song!

And the other thing is arrangement on Leslie's version is much better!

Mr Lam did a good job! He trimmed the part from 2:20 on (the reggae/rap was cut) & used the more suited guitar riff from elsewhere of the song to built up the climax to the chorus! I did an Edit a la Leslie's version (sorry no guitar riff)! Sending to you right now!

According to some sources: 林礦培 is Peter Lam! But more results came back with 林建岳 as Peter Lam!
