It was for Alex To's spreadsheet! I found it more or less at the same as you mentioned! First time to hear them! Like Alex' version! Happy to hear the original! Like it very much! But now listening to them back to back: I prefer Alex' more! Original is just a bit over the edge (too emotional)! Well, that's the original all about, hahaha!

其實早已忘記了這首歌, 歌名就有點印象. 要到早幾個月正在找所有杜德偉的改編歌時才再發現這首歌. Actually, Alex's version was also very emotional, but I think it was more in a reserved way compared to the original. Be fair though, I think it's quite common among the southern european (italian/spanish/french) to sound overly expressive, I think it is rooted in the language itself.
Anyway, like them both.
